The Paleontological Institute is pleased to announce Digital Treatise, a new way to access the complete content of the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology. A subscription-based service, Digital Treatise provides online access to all of the previously published volumes of the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology. Offered as an annual subscription to libraries and universities, Digital Treatise allows users within an institution’s IP range to access and search PDF files of all 51 published volumes of the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology. Volumes can be downloaded in their entirety or as individual chapters.

Digital Treatise complements the Paleontological Institute's online journal, Treatise Online, which publishes individual chapters of Treatise volumes currently in preparation.

Libraries and institutions subscribing to both Digital Treatise and Treatise Online provide their students, faculty, and researchers with access to past, present, and future content of the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology on demand.

Annual institutional subscriptions for Digital Treatise are offered for $599 per year. Annual institutional subscriptions for Treatise Online are available for $399 per year. New volumes of the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology will be added to Digital Treatise one year after the date of publication in hardcover format.

The content of both Digital Treatise and Treatise Online is free to members of the Palaeontological Association, Paleontological Society, and SEPM. Members must visit their respective society’s member page for log-in information.
